Graduated to 4 West

Trish is pregnant with boy/girl twins with an official due date of Feb 9th.

On Oct 28th Trish woke up in the middle of the night to use the restroom and discovered some light spotting.  She googled it and only found results that discussed heavy bleeding, so she decided to go back to bed.  Later that morning, she called her doctor to ask what she should do and they scheduled her to go into the office the office.  She went to the school for 45 minutes and then told her "friends" she would be back in a little bit.  The doctor examined her and found her cervix was only 2cm (was supposed to be 4) so he sent her to Riverside.  When she arrived, she was having contractions about every 2 minutes.  She spent the next 2 days on IVs taking antibiotics and Magnesium Sulfate, a muscle relaxer to try and slow down the contractions.  They also gave her 2 steroid shots to help the babies' lungs develop in case they do decide to crash the party.

On 10/30, the doctor decided she was stable enough to go to 4 West, the "High Risk" area, which means less monitoring, a more comfortable bed and a mini-fridge.

Trish will most likely be on bed rest in the hospital until she delivers, which we are still hoping will be a long time from now.
