Yesterday the twins hit 30 weeks Correct Age/Gestational age. They changed the oxygen alarms to go off when the oxygen level is more than 98 (from 95) or less than 85 (from 80). Grayson's biggest hurdle at the moment is his number of desats, but it seems that it is mostly from mucus in his lungs, making them less efficient and plugging up his tube.
We are officially on the next size diaper, which I believe are called Preemie Swaddlers. These two seem to be in between sizes on almost everything. They are swimming in these diapers, but the old ones are way too small.
Thank you God for a calm day and the transition to the next size diaper! And for weight gains, new beds and changes in oxygen alarms. A month ago, we probably wouldn't have thought such little things would be such big things and we thank you for your love and protection of Scarlett and Grayson. Please continue to give Tricia and Tim the spiritual and physical strength they need to support each other and care for their precious twins. Bless the medical personnel and inspire them to keep making decisions that will help the babies to continue to grow and thrive. Mary, Mother of God and our Mother, we beg you again to intercede with your Son on Grayson's behalf. Clear his lungs and make them strong enough to move back to the SiPAP. Please help both twins to continue to develop so that each day brings them one day closer to leaving the NICU and going home with Tricia and Tim as a family.
ReplyDeleteLet's hear it for diapers that are too small! Quiet day=good news!
ReplyDeleteWe continue to implore Our Mother's help and seek Her intercession for Grayson and Scarlett. The pictures are precious. It may seem like a blur to you both, but you have reached the 1 month mark. Good news again! Asking for special blessings today on Daddy's birthday. Love to all of you.
