Scarlett had a head ultrasound and Xray today. I haven't heard what the XRay results were but the head ultrasound revealed no changes. They weren't expecting anything different but wanted to be safe because of the meningitis. The Xray was for her chest and abdomen because her oxygen levels have been very high (40-50%) for long periods of time. Also she has looked pretty bloated. She weighed in at 2 pounds 14 ounces.
Both kids had pretty loud murmers when the doc checked early this morning.
I held Grayson for 2 hours and Trish held Scarlett for over an hour. The entire time Scarlett was being held she was "High Statting," By the time they were done, her oxygen was down to 36%.

Dear God, we beg you to help Scarlett and Grayson overcome the difficulties they are having. We know in our heads that you have this under control but in our hearts we are aching for something more positive to hold on to. If we need to demonstrate our faith and trust in you, we rise up as those who love and cherish Tricia, Tim and these babies and say "we trust you, help us when our trust starts to weaken." We thank you for the "no change" in Scarlett's head ultrasound and Grayson's response to the blood transfusion. We are grateful that both babies are gaining weight. Please help heal Grayson's infection and the heart murmur in both babies. We continue to ask your blessing on Tricia and Tim who demonstrate to you each day the love they have for the precious miracles with which you have gifted them. You know the prayers that lie deep in our hearts and we ask you to bless us with your kindness, yet again.
ReplyDeleteGrayson, it's not nice to scare your mommy and daddy! I hope today is less eventful and that the x-Ray can help give you all a plan to help miss Scarlett. You're doing a great job being there and doing all you can to help your kiddos grow and thrive!! We are trusting in God and asking Him to grow those babies too and to heal all their struggling systems. Love you guys.
ReplyDeleteWe are thankful for the positives and ask God to handle all of the negatives. Who could imagine that tiny little preemies can make our hearts stop or make our hearts soar? Dear God, send your special Angels to watch over Grayson and Scarlett today. Send your own Mother with grace, love and tender care for Trish and Tim.
